Notes on Aiden's Name

I decided to do a search on Aiden's name and found this interesting description...
It is of Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "fire". Anglicized form of the ancient Gaelic name Aedan, a pet form of Aed. Name of a bishop of Ferns (seventh century) who was noted for his kindness and generosity. Saint Aidan (Ireland, seventh century) established the monastery of Lindisfarne, one of the great centers of learning of its time.

Who is That?

Lately Aiden has been having trouble relaxing while sitting in his rocker. The trouble? He's distracted by the caterpillar print on the fabric part of his chair. The other day he ended up totally bent at the waist trying to get a look at the print. Today I got a video of him doing it.

Eat it or wear it

Aiden had the first real meal of his life this week, dining on baby sweet potatoes. An equal amount landed in his stomach and on his face. And here are some photos just taken after he woke up from a nap in a good mood.

Happy Memorial Day!

Today we went downtown for some coffee and a walk through a cool neighborhood. Aiden slept for most of the trip. He is showing off his allegiance to the 1st Infantry Division of the Army.

Regarding Photos

I've updated our Picasa web albums. I've put the most recent album on the right hand side of the page but you can still look at the old pictures by clicking here. You can also order your very own prints of any of the pictures in our albums. All you have to do is click "order prints" when you're looking at the album. There are several places to order from and it is pretty easy.

Breaking News: The Flip Side

Today the man finally figured out how to roll from his back to his stomach. He's been able to get on his side for several days but couldn't seem to get his right arm out of the way. This morning he ended up on his belly. You will notice he rolled right on to the newspaper and started trying to read it. I may have a future journalist on my hands.
